Anti-Corruption Pledge and Development Commitment for local NGOs in South Galmudug.

As a dedicated local non-governmental organization from South Galmudug and committed to the betterment of society and the well-being of the people, members to this Consortium Umbrella Agreement hereby solemnly pledges to foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct in all our endeavors. Our mission is to contribute to the sustainable development of South Galmudug, recognizing that eradicating corruption is integral to achieving this goal.

Anti-Corruption Pledge:
Zero Tolerance: members declare zero tolerance for corruption at all levels. We will not engage in, support, or tolerate any form of corruption, bribery, fraud, or any other unethical practices.

Transparency and Accountability:

We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of transparency and accountability in our operations. All financial transactions, project implementations, and decision-making processes will be conducted openly, and records will be made accessible as stipulated in contracts and legal documents.

Ethical Conduct:

Members of the SGNU pledge to uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct. Our staff, volunteers, and partners will adhere to ethical principles in all interactions, ensuring fairness, honesty, and respect for human dignity.

Whistleblower Protection:

We will establish mechanisms to protect and encourage whistleblowers who report any suspected wrongdoing within the organizations working in South Galmudug. Whistleblowers will be safeguarded from any form of retaliation, and their identities will be kept confidential.

Development Commitment for South Galmudug:
Community Engagement: members recognize the importance of community involvement in the development process. We commit to actively engaging with the communities of South Galmudug to understand their needs, priorities, and aspirations.

Education and Healthcare:
SGNU members pledge to focus on enhancing educational opportunities and improving healthcare services in South Galmudug. We will work towards the establishment and improvement of schools, vocational training centers, and healthcare facilities to ensure a healthier and more educated population.

Economic Empowerment:
We will strive to empower the local population by promoting sustainable livelihoods and income-generating activities. This includes supporting entrepreneurship, skill development, and initiatives that enhance economic opportunities.

Infrastructure Development:
We commit to working on infrastructure projects that enhance the quality of life in South Galmudug. This includes the development of roads, water supply systems, and other critical infrastructure to improve accessibility and living conditions.

Members acknowledge the importance of environmental sustainability in long-term development. We will promote initiatives that focus on environmental conservation, renewable energy, and responsible natural resource management.
